Guest Accommodation

During university vacations Westcott House can offer visitors a variety of styles of simple accommodation at competitive prices. We offer guests a chance to sample a taste of traditional college living. The central location makes Westcott House an ideal base for guests to explore the delights of Cambridge with the benefit of accommodation in a peaceful and idyllic college setting.

Accommodation is mostly available during vacations when students are not in residence. This usually falls in Easter from the end of March until the third week of April and during the summer months from the last week of June until the third week of September. We do occasionally have rooms available outside of these times.

Depending on preference and availability our guests can be accommodated in one our standard rooms which are usually ‘sets’ – the traditional name given to a set of two rooms (bedroom and separate room/study) that make up the majority of student accommodation at Westcott House. The larger sets can be easily adapted for double and family occupancy. The rooms are simply furnished with shared bathrooms, showers, lavatories and kitchen facilities available on each staircase.

Alternatively, we are able to offer a small number of en-suite bedrooms with private bathrooms and access to small shared kitchens. We also have an accessible room available for guests which is equipped with a wet room and its own kitchenette.

All the rooms are serviced by the college housekeeping staff.

There are additionally a number of 2 and 3 bedroom self-catering flats available during the summer months (minimum stay is one week). The flats are fully furnished and come supplied with bed linen, towels, crockery and cutlery. The flats overlook the New Court where residents can enjoy outdoor entertaining and there is a safe play area for children.
